Measured Surveys
A Measured Survey is an accurate representation of your property, showing all the structural elements and architectural features. Floor plans are essential to give an accurate representation of a property and can be backed up with elevations and cross sections presented as a scaled survey drawing.
We can prepare detailed measured surveys of a range of properties using the latest laser measuring tools and prepare drawings to any standard required using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. The drawings we produce from our surveys can be used for any purpose required including extensions, planning, building regulations, construction, demolition and lease plans.

Specialist Design
We are uniquely placed to provide a full complement of design services. We adopt a flexible, individualised approach to each project and possess extensive experience having provided design services for a cross section of building types and clients alike, with a range of differing requirements.
For many clients, we provide design services which will include concept design proposals through to a full technical drawings package illustrating any one scheme, using both CAD software and pen and paper, so to deliver exceptional architectural designs that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. We understand how to push the boundaries and endeavour to deliver something out of the ordinary.
Our typical service involves a free consultation so to discuss the client’s requirements. Following this, we carry out a full Measured Survey in order to produce existing drawings. We then prepare proposed drawings which we present for consideration, prior to completing and submitting Statutory Approvals such as planning and building regulations. We then monitor such through to completion.
Our design skills marry well with our technical and construction building surveying skills and we are very often engaged to provide Contact Administration or Project Management services for the same project.

Statutory Approvals
Statutory Approvals are required for most new buildings and many alterations of existing buildings in England and Wales, whether domestic, commercial or industrial. Our core service has seen us working on some fantastic properties, a handful of which have been listed or of architectural merit. We often take the lead on projects where statutory approvals are necessary, including permitted development, full planning permission, conservation area consent, building control approval, listed building consent and other requirements you may require, such as party wall notices.
The complexity of a specific project will dictate the detail and scale of the submissions to achieve the required consents. We have a wealth of experience in dealing with a wide range of projects, including window replacement schemes, extensions, aqua-therapy pool complexes and new builds right through to bathroom reconfigurations, small scale internal alterations and outbuildings to house hot tubs.

Production Information
Production Information is more commonly referred to as Scope of Works. Although Designs and Statutory Approvals are often sufficient to enable a contractor to construct the shell, it does not provide sufficient detail on internal finishes and the like; as such tender prices obtained are often not precise. We provide a service in producing a detailed written Schedule of Works to accompany the designs, sufficient to enable accurate fixed costings to be obtained.
We work hand in hand with our clients throughout this entire process, as well as any appointed experts such as Occupational Therapists, Nursing/Care Consultants, Physiotherapists and Assistive Technology Experts. All design choices are presented within a single document, containing everything from lighting, wall coverings, floor finishes, furniture, kitchen and bathroom choices, storage, wardrobes, doors, ironmongery, faceplates, switching and much, much more.
